From the earliest age, Dr Charlie Brennan has been fascinated with the land, communities and relationships between these. The moors, woods, hedgerows and productive fields of Devon, England became a first place of imagining into landscapes, places and life they contain. This interest grew from England to Asia as a teenager and to a deep immersion into places and projects in Australia.
Dr Charlie Brennan is co-director of Garden Juju Collective and Gateway Farm in Michigan,
along with being the co-creators of Adapt Design Game with Bridget O'Brian. They teach and consult in US, UK,
Portugal, and Australia. Recent projects include in Al-Hadiqa Heritage Garden in Detroit,
upgrading Gateway Farm in Plymouth, Michigan and consulting, design and implementation of
Oakhill Food Justice Farm, Preston, Melbourne.
