Gavin Hardy is the Queensland coordinator of Community Gardens Australia, education coordinator at Northey Street City Farm, Brisbane and Churchill Fellow with a passion for community agroforestry. Gav is also a multi award-winning landscape architect and engineer with over 25 years’ experience planning, designing and building numerous re-wilding landscapes and community food projects in Australia and overseas. Gavin brings an understanding of the governance, operations, health and wellbeing, biodiversity, food sustainability and community capacity building aspects of community food in the public arena. He tends his own food forest at an apartment block in the subtropical city of Brisbane, Australia.
