The 'Introduction to Market Gardening - Soil' is the first component of the Canberra City Farm's Market Gardening Course that will run for 15 months. This first session looks at Soils and will run over two days - 18 April and 9 May 2021. Participants will be shown how to assess and modify their own soil properties to ensure their soil is in optimal condition for growing nutritious fruit and vegetables. Particular emphasis will be placed on the biological properties of soil as the driver of soil fertility.
