STARWARD Whisky’s Russell Stubbs returns to the Sustainable Living Festival in 2017 to explore how craft industries are heading toward sustainable futures.

This local producer of single malt whisky takes a holistic look at sustainability, investing heavily in areas such as heat recovery, environmentally friendly lighting and operations and staff engagement. As well as long-working relationships with not for profit organisations, STARWARD has developed a dynamic framework that at the looks at the health, safety and happiness of both its employees and community.

This year STARWARD launches a new formal Corporate Social Responsibility program with the ambition to see its reporting and targets receive international significance comparable to leading multinationals in sustainability. Come learn from these industry leaders in their new and expansive Port Melbourne distillery. Just pull up a chair in-between their whisky bar and copper stills!
