Kieran Christopherson

Co-found, Head Gardener , Echo Floria

Kieran Christopherson is a gardener, writer, and environmental consultant. After joining youth organisation Reach as a teenager, Kieran spent fifteen years designing and facilitating transformative personal and professional development programs Australia-wide for over 100,000 people.

After a pivotal experience at Denmark’s first rooftop farm ØsterGro, Kieran returned home and enrolled in the Master of Urban Horticulture at the University of Melbourne, Burnley. His graduate research explores the learning journey of Victoria’s first-generation farmers, a critically under-examined cohort who are currently reimagining the future of Australian farming.

Kieran works as a kitchen gardener at Babbington Park Farm, growing food with Chef Annie Smithers for her award-winning restaurant Du Fermier. Under the name Echo Floria, Kieran and wife Kate are building a small demonstration farm in Lancefield, to provide workshops which reconnect people to the earth, their food, and themselves.
