Mark Sanders is a passionate food grower and community organiser helping create sustainable opportunities for people to grow food together.
In 2010 he co-founded not-for-profit Moreland Community Gardening, revitalizing a West Brunswick food forest and community garden and launching the Pentridge Community Garden in 2017.
Mark also helped found the Moreland Food Gardens Network in 2010 to support community collaboration and knowledge sharing and to advocate for improved food access and more urban agriculture.
Since 2014 he has been part of a group working towards a Food Systems Strategy for the City of Moreland.
