"I grew up on a 50 acre hobby farm in Cockatoo, my parents immigrated to Australia in the mid 60’s and brought with them their culture and skills from their country where they were self sufficient.
"I had the best childhood, it was carefree. We had everything, a massive fruit and vegetable garden, poultry, chickens, ducks, pheasants, always had a pig, cattle, sheep and goats. Our freezer and pantry was always full and everything was grown organically.
"I loved helping dad on the farm, building, working on the tractor. I married my next door neighbour who was a dairy farmer, and we eventually converted to organics."
